OUR PURPOSE
Save Our Supplies (SOS) collects unused, high-quality medical supplies that would otherwise be sent to landfill. Hospitals, clinics, and suppliers often have surplus items due to packaging changes, oversupply, or strict expiry standards. Even though these items are safe and usable, they’re routinely discarded.
Many health services, community groups, and crisis-response organisations across the Asia-Pacific operate with limited resources. There is substantial and ongoing need for medical supplies (hospital beds, surgical tools, medical consumables like dressings and wound-care items) across much of Asia‑Pacific — particularly in lower-income and lower‑resource countries. Access to safe, high-quality supplies improves the ability of healthcare providers to deliver care, respond to emergencies, and support vulnerable people.
SOS steps in to collect, sort, quality-check, and redistribute quality supplies to health clinics and communities across the Asia-Pacific, according to need and context. This ensures the every essential medical good like dressings, gloves, surgical tools, and protective equipment is put to its intended use.

NOTHING GOES TO WASTE
Each year, Save Our Supplies diverts over $1.3M worth of clean and unused medical tools and equipment from hospitals in Australia to vulnerable communities and developing countries across the globe.
Through our climate-focused operating model, SOS transforms unused Australian medical supplies into vital resources for Pacific communities—reducing healthcare waste, landfill, and emissions while improving access to essential health services. We prioritise partnerships with suppliers and freight providers who share our environmental values, promoting responsible supply chains and efficient logistics.
Our results-focused approach ensures that supplies are fit-for-purpose, effectively distributed, and aligned with local capacity.
